Homemade Christmas Cards Part One
I had intended to post my homemade Christmas cards today. But I got distracted by the snow (see below), and by the effort required to wrap a pile of Christmas presents in brown paper, hessian, lace, net and twine.
So instead I'm going to share a quick preview - and I'll post the full tutorial tomorrow.
Here's how my Eucalyptus and Stars Christmas cards turned out:

I'm pretty pleased with them! Hope you like them too :-)
Back tomorrow with the full run-down, and lots more pictures...

How simple, clean, and refreshing. I see so much clutter around the holidays, which these definitely are not! Also, how quaint to say "Happy Christmas," a more intimate, in my opinion, season's greeting!
What's the weather like there?
They look lovely. I just love eucalyptus trees. We had one at our last house and I loved watching it grow. Happy holidays!
Thanks for your kind words, guys! Right Bank Girl - your eucalyptus tree sounds lovely. I have five in the back garden and they are growing like CRAZY.
The weather? Giggle. We may have had the occasional snowflake... who am I kidding, we've had SO MUCH SNOW! A plethora of snow! A veritable palimpsest of snow! Lovin' it.
I've said Happy Christmas in my Christmas cards every year since I was five (apart from the occasional year when I defiantly busted out a Merry Christmas instead) - everyone says Happy Christmas in lil' ol' England. I wouldn't dare use Seasons Greetings (Season's Greeting? Seasons' Greetings?) cos I'd prolly get the apostrophe wrong and give my English-teacher Dad a fit.
I do like Happy Holidays tho. That's cool. Happy Holidays to you both :-)
