Welcome!

Thanks for visting Simply The Nest. I'm an English girl married to an Portuguese boy, and when I'm not taking care of our adorable baby girl, I blog about our house renovation, DIY projects, delicious recipes, design, inspirational interiors, and  family life in a little Manchester nest. Oh, and Jack Russells (we have two). And our five year masterplan to move to France. Très bien.

I'm Loving It - Tulips, Cactus Hearts and Frogs

It's all about the little things, right?

Like walking into the kitchen to make yet another espresso (thank you, Gaggia!) and seeing the sunlight shining through a bunch of red tulips on the windowsill:

And then admiring these adorable little cactus hearts:

And giggling at brown-money-collecting Froggy - look, he's got a radio! And he seems really pleased about it!

Loving it.

Tulips are my most favorite flower! Nice pics...
Followed the link to see Miss Penny drinking from the milk jug: adorable!

I love all three of those items. But especially the cactus hearts!

I adore tulips, but I wish they lasted a little longer as cut flowers... if the tulip bulbs in the garden EVER come up this year they last for weeks and weeks, which is lovely.

Yeah, I love the cactus hearts. I gave them to Andre for Valentine's Day this year. Liking it.
