Cushions Galore

I had some fabric left over from making Eva's beanbags, so I sewed a couple of cushions.

Tools required - fabric, measuring tape, and apparently a sleepy Jack Russell. Also: sewing machine, thread, and a couple of cushions inners.

Here they are on Eva's bed (yes, she's in a big girl bed now!).

Aren't they pretty?

They're made from a heavy cotton fabric so are suitably sturdy for toddler antics. And of course the covers are removeable and washable.

I love these patterns together.

I also made a pillowcase with some leftover material from the curtains.

Eva loves them - "My pillow! My cushions!" - and can usually be found either wrestling them or tucking in various members of her soft toy army on top of them. Oh, the simple pleasures of toddlerdom.
